Sweden Summer House Amazingly Merges With The Surrounding Nature

This Sweden summer house transformed by Dive Architects celebrates great outdoors while enjoying the precious sun-filled days in the countryside. The residence is located three hours north of Stockholm, in a forest area of silver birch and pine trees on an isolated 2000 square meter plot.

The architects managed to design a home that will beautifully merge with the surrounding nature over the years.

The dwelling is situated on a steeply sloping site, along with a ridge, and has been divided into two rectangular volumes with lean-to roofs sloping in opposite directions; one for the living area, the other for the sleeping area.

At the meeting point, of the two volumes of the house is slightly angled in order to integrate the main entrance and a sheltered outdoor seating area.

You can benefit from different views depending on whether
you look up to the forest or down to the lake.

The house was specifically situated on the north to the south axis so that the homeowners can have the morning sun at breakfast and, as the day goes on, enjoy the sunset from the master bedroom.

A beautiful mix of sliding doors and fixed glass has been used throughout the house. Every bedroom has access to the outside area, allowing access from the bedrooms to the outdoors.
